The 6th Grade Gold basketball team is officially concluding an incredible chapter with the Mars Girls Youth Basketball Program, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and teamwork. This talented group began their journey together back in 3rd grade, where they immediately showed their competitive spirit by "playing up" in a league against older 4th-grade opponents. This became a hallmark of their career, as they consistently challenged themselves by competing against higher grade levels and still managed to find massive success across every tournament and league they entered.

Over the last four years, the girls have built a truly dominant reputation, finishing their youth career with an astounding overall record of 114 wins and only 14 losses. Their success extended far beyond local gyms, as the team earned a spot in the Pennsylvania Middle School State Championship every single year they played. Their performance on the state stage was remarkably consistent, including two years as State Runners-Up as well as 4th and 5th-place finishes in the state.

Within the PYBL league, the girls were a constant force, securing three consecutive regular-season titles and back-to-back playoff champions. What an unbelievable run for this group of athletes! Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to take on older competition have set a high bar for future Planets. Congratulations to the players and coaches on these historic achievements—we look forward to seeing all the great things you will accomplish as you move forward in your basketball careers!
