5th Grade Gold 2nd in State

Mars girls 5th grade gold team places 2nd in the State at the Pennsylvania Middle School Championship. They beat MARA 19-13 and Exeter 39-3 on Saturday. They were the only Western PA team still left in the running coming into Sunday's games. Sunday they beat Perkiomen 28-26 to advance to the State Championship. They were the only team to advance to the State Championship 2 consecutive years in a row. They finished second falling to MLGBA 29-24 becoming 2nd in the State for the 2nd year in a row. Wow! You make Mars proud girls. Way to go. Heck of a season!
